Sam Ryder will bring his highly anticipated performance as Jesus to Theatre Royal Plymouth when Jesus Christ Superstar opens its major UK tour in the city from 3 to 14 August 2027. Following West End runs at The London Palladium and Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Plymouth audiences will see it first.

The award-winning Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical, featuring Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf’s greatest hits, is returning to Theatre Royal Plymouth next week, running from 12 – 17 May, following its hugely successful run back in 2022.

Theatre Royal Plymouth (TRP) community group, Our Space, will return with a new show, Domestication, which explores the human experience through its signature style of bold visual storytelling and immersive soundscapes.

In Search of Goldoni is part of TRP’s Drum spring season and is a one-person comedic play that follows Saikat on a family trip to his beloved Venice. Saikat is an actor, writer and poet based in Bristol and has starred in theatre, film, TV and radio as well as working as a writer for stage.

This year, Maybe You Like It’s Down To Chance has been selected as TRP’s partnership production. Down To Chance offers a heartwarming portrait of a community in crisis in 1964 Alaska, as the protagonists find themselves at the centre of a remarkable relief effort with the whole world listening.

International champion and Strictly Come Dancing star NIKITA KUZMIN is thrilled to announce the full cast joining him on his first ever UK & Ireland solo tour MIDNIGHT DANCER. The tour will open on 8 March 2025, playing at Theatre Royal Plymouth (TRP) 01 May 2025.
