In a music industry where independent artists must work harder than ever to be heard, three exceptional musicians are joining forces to do something powerful: create their own stage and invite the community in.

Anna Ling, Jon Fazal, and Anna Anise - each with their own distinctive sound and story - are banding together to co-promote and perform one unforgettable evening at the Barbican Theatre, Plymouth on Thursday, 11th September 2025.

At the heart of the night is a shared message: collaboration is celebration.

With a double headline performance from Anna Ling and Jon Fazal, backed by their incredible bands, audiences can expect an emotionally rich and musically captivating night of folk, indie, and storytelling songwriting at its finest. The evening will open with a stunning support set from singer-songwriter Anna Anise, premiering some of her new works in the Cornish Language.

About the Artists

Jon Fazal’s music draws from a deep well of honesty and nostalgia, blending indie, folk, and baroque-pop with heartfelt lyricism. With comparisons to The Kinks, Bob Dylan, and Elliott Smith, his songs move between vulnerability and melodic charm. He’ll be performing songs from his debut album After Everything alongside material from his new album Insomniac’s Ball with his full band.

Anna Ling and her band weave layered vocal harmony, unusual rhythm, and raw, emotionally resonant songwriting, rooted in the landscape of Devon. Anna’s music has been described as “mesmerising” by BBC Introducing, and her performances offer space for reflection, connection, and beauty - and this show is part of her wider UK tour.
