The Depo joins UK-wide grassroots music festival bringing Glastonbury energy to Plymouth this weekend
Plymouth’s The Depo will become part of the UK’s biggest grassroots music festival this weekend, as venues across the country join forces for Everywhere At Once.
Taking place from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 June 2026, on what would have been Glastonbury Festival weekend, Everywhere At Once is bringing festival energy into local venues across the UK. Instead of tents, traffic and long journeys, audiences are being invited to experience live music closer to home, in the grassroots spaces where artists, scenes and communities are built.
For Plymouth, that means The Depo on Union Street will be part of a national moment celebrating the venues that keep live music alive in cities like ours.
The venue will host two gigs across the weekend. On Friday 26 June, Midlands synth-pop band Deco will perform with support from Peri Rae and China Bears. On Sunday 28 June, San Diego surf-rockers Wavves will come to The Depo, supported by Foxhole and Tooth Gore.
The festival has been organised by Music Venue Trust, the charity working to protect, secure and improve grassroots music venues across the UK, and is powered by The National Lottery. It celebrates the network of venues where artists often take their first steps on stage, where future festival headliners develop their craft, and where audiences can access exciting, affordable live music in their own communities.
That local access matters. Grassroots music venues are not just places to watch bands. They are part of a city’s creative infrastructure. They give new artists somewhere to start, independent promoters somewhere to take risks, young audiences somewhere to discover new sounds, and local communities somewhere to come together.
In Plymouth, venues like The Depo play an important role in keeping the city’s nightlife, music scene and cultural identity moving. Supporting these spaces means supporting the people who programme events, run sound, work behind the bar, promote shows, perform on stage, make posters, bring friends, buy tickets and help create the atmosphere that makes a venue feel alive.

Everywhere At Once is being delivered by Music Venue Trust alongside Save Our Scene and the Association of Independent Promoters. The weekend will also give audiences the opportunity to support a range of music charities at point of purchase, including War Child, Nordoff and Robbins, Help Musicians UK and Teenage Cancer Trust.
For Plymouth audiences, this is a chance to be part of something national without leaving the city. It is a reminder that the future of live music does not only happen on huge festival stages. It starts in rooms like The Depo, on streets like Union Street, with people choosing to show up.
