ScottishPower Foundation's Annual Grants Programme for UK Charities - Deadline Approaching
Charities registered with one of the UK charity regulators for at least two full years, with an income of between £100,000 and £5 million still have time to apply for a grant of between £50,000 and £100,000 for a one-year project.
The current funding round is for projects that help deliver the outcomes set out in the ScottishPower Foundation's Strategic Plan 2026 to 2029.

Funding to Support Jewish/Interfaith Relations, Music, and Performing Arts
The Wingate Foundation (also known as the Harold Hyam Wingate Foundation) offers grants to smaller UK registered charities operating in the charity's key areas of interest, with the aim of supporting activity which creates a significant impact on individuals and/or communities and leaves a lasting legacy.

Ensemble - Twelfth Round Grants
Continuo Foundation is offering grants of between £2,000 and £6,000 for professional ensembles playing period music and instruments to mobilise projects of outstanding artistic merit and create meaningful work for freelance period musicians, whilst engaging a wide range of audiences with historically informed live performances, particularly in areas lacking access to high-quality live classical music.

Emerging Maker Grants
QEST Opens Emerging Maker Grants for UK-based Craftspeople
The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust has opened a new round of its Emerging Maker Grant, offering support for early-career craftspeople based in the UK.
The grant is intended for makers who identify their practice within the field of craft and can demonstrate a strong foundation and clear commitment to developing their skills.

Radcliffe Trust
Charities and other not-for-profit groups across the UK have until the end of July 2026 to apply to the Radcliffe Trust's second 2026 funding round.
The Radcliffe Trust supports projects and activities in the areas of music, heritage, and crafts. Heritage and Crafts Grants are generally in the region of £2,500 to £7,500. Music Grants are generally in the region of £2,500 to £5,000.

Local News Fund
£6m Fund Launched to Secure the Future of Local News (UK)
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is administering the Local News Fund, a grant pot designed to support the long-term provision of high quality local news through a competitive bidding process.
The Fund is worth up to £6 million in 2026/27 and is split into two parts. Local News Outlet Funding (LNOF) accounts for 75% of the total and is reserved for eligible local news outlets based in England or Wales. Infrastructure Funding (IF) represents 25% and is reserved for eligible organisations based anywhere in the UK, where proposed work can benefit the local media industry more widely.

UK-IRL Culture Connects Grant 2026/27
The British Council is inviting applications for its UK-Ireland Culture Connects Grant, delivered in association with Arts Council Ireland.
The grant offers support for creative development activities that prioritise research, experimentation and professional growth rather than final outputs. Awards of up to £2,500 (€3,000) are available.

BFI Filmmaking Fund - Discovery and Impact feature funding
The British Film Institute has opened applications for the Discovery strand of its Filmmaking Fund. The strand is intended to support original live action and animation feature filmmaking, with a UK-wide focus reaching beyond London and the South East.

Make Space - Open Call
Make Space unlocks spaces within arts organisations for artists to set up, test and reflect on their work. Through Make Space, artists can apply for space in partner organisations for focused periods of time.
Make Space is designed to support artists whilst recognising the practical limitations organisations face in facilitating access. The initiative is run entirely in-kind by VASW and Make Space partners.

Incentivising Touring Scheme
Arts Council England is inviting expressions of interest for the third round of its Incentivising Touring scheme, an initiative designed to support mid-large scale theatre and dance productions touring across England. The scheme aims to reduce financial risks for producers and encourage investment by demonstrating potential for financial returns.
Funding, provided as a repayable grant, is available at up to 25% of production capitalisation costs, capped at £500,000 per project.

Creative Foundations Fund (CFF) Round 2
Arts Council England is accepting applications for Round 2 of the Creative Foundations Fund, offering capital grants to not-for-profit creative and cultural organisations in England to revitalise, restore, retrofit or renew cultural assets, including urgent works required to maintain public-facing delivery.
A total of £76.8 million is available for 2026/27 through two strands aimed at improving the economic sustainability of cultural and creative organisations.
Deadline: 7th August (Strand 1) and 13th July (Strand 2)
UK Short Film Competition
Annual UK Short Film Competition Open for Entries Across Five Categories
An annual awards programme providing financial prizes to UK based short film makers across a number of creative categories is open for entries.
Each of the five category winners will receive a cash prize of £1,500.

British Council Invites Applications for Cultural Collaboration Funding
The British Council has opened applications for its Connections Through Culture grants, intended for the development of new creative projects leading to collaborative activity.
Awards of between £5,000 and £15,000 are available.

Rothschild Foundation is offering grants for institutions and organisations with materials relating to Jewish heritage to conserve, organise, and protect collections, develop exhibitions, and support the professional development and training of staff working with Jewish material heritage

£10m Innovate UK Fund Opens for Creative Technology Innovation Projects
Up to £10 million has been allocated for industrial research projects, intended to support early-stage innovation at the intersection of high-growth Createch and the Industrial Strategy Frontier Industries. Each application must have total eligible costs between £100,000 and £500,000.

The Oram Awards
Oram Awards Open for Women and Gender‑Diverse Music Innovators
Applications are open for the annual Oram Awards, which recognise and support women, trans, non-binary and gender-diverse artists who are innovating in the fields of music, sound and audio technologies. Each award includes a £1,500 bursary.

Learning Through Making fund supports UK-based visual art organisations
Freelands Foundation Invites Applications to Learning Through Making Fund
The Freelands Foundations, a registered charity, is offering grants of up to £25,000 for UK-based visual art education projects that creatively engage audiences with the process of making and exploration of materials. This fund is intended to provide an opportunity for activity to take place that might not otherwise be possible.

International Touring and Environmental Responsibility Programme
Support for Sustainable Approaches to International Arts Touring (England and Scotland)
The International Touring and Environmental Responsibility Fund (ITER) has opened a new round of support for performing arts professionals developing lower-carbon approaches to international touring and collaboration.
Awards of up to £40,000 are available for successful partnerships.

Totally Unhinged Plymouth launch
Totally Unhinged is a new production company formed by former Plymouth Laureate, Laura Horton, and producer Naomi Turner. We want to find ways to create development opportunities for artists at a time when work is scarce.
We will use funds to seed commission local writers to write short plays and hire local actors and creatives to perform these pieces at a venue in Stonehouse in Plymouth.
The community event will be free and there will also be free writing workshops made available too.
The Small Indie Fund
The Small Indie Fund ringfences £1million a year to support talented small independent production companies with turnovers of less than £10million. The fund has a focus on diverse-led companies and those based in the Nations and English regions.
In 2025/26 the fund has a dual focus, working across both TV and digital.
