Taste of Plymouth – Recipes That Tell Our Story
This summer, Plymouth’s official time capsule will be installed beneath the newly completed Armada Way and opened in 2047, marking 100 years since the city’s post-war reconstruction. One exciting idea from our community group is to include a city cookbook – a collection of 100 recipes reflecting Plymouth’s rich and diverse food culture.
We’re inviting residents, businesses, and organisations to submit recipes that matter to them – family favourites, cultural dishes, or creations they’re proud of. Each recipe will be accompanied by a short story and a photo, published in a printed book and preserved in the time capsule for the city’s future.
This is a chance to celebrate Plymouth’s diversity and ensure voices from across our cultural sector are part of this historic project.
