What are you doing on Saturday 20th June?

Join us at Commercial Wharf for Plymouth's Gansey Gathering and celebrate Plymouth's fishing heritage & coastal creativity with our FREE sardine festival. We have a ton of brilliant artists work at the festival and free workshops for adults and children.

- Entertainment from shanty groups The Seagals, Seaweed in the Fruit Locker, Plymouth Community Choir and Freedom Fields Ceilidh Band.

- Hands-on coastal crafts demos and creative workshops such as crab pot making, fish skin leatherwork, flax corn dollies, gansey knitting.

- Storytelling and story walks for those who want to find out more about our fishing heritage.

- Seaweed tasting.

- Free sardines between 12-2pm cooked by Food is Fun.

Running from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 20th June, the festival is free and open to all so spread the word and celebrate sardines with us and get in the spirit of the gansey!
