Workshops

In The Making: Felt Flag Making

  • Using our templates and inspiration sheets, you’ll cut shapes and letters from colourful felt to design a one-of-a-kind flag. Whether you’re decorating your home, celebrating a special occasion, creating a personalised gift, or simply enjoying a few hours of creativity, this is such a fun and relaxing way to get making!

  • No experience is necessary, and the workshop is suitable for all ages (though younger children may need a little help with cutting).

  • We’ll be making them throughout the day, with booking slots at 10:30am, 12:45pm, and 2:30pm. Pop along, get creative, and stay as long as you need to finish your flag!

  • All materials are provided – just bring yourself and leave with your own bespoke creation!

Free entry. Book your place here.

Creative Book Making

  • Join us for a playful, hands-on introduction to simple book making.

  • In this creative workshop, you’ll learn how to fold and assemble your own small handmade book, then decorate it using original prints made by our Printmakers at Devonport Print Studio.

  • All materials are provided, and you’ll take home your finished handmade book along with a 30-day drawing prompt to help you keep making, noticing and filling your pages after the workshop.
