The launch of 'Second Gaze', an independent fashion magazine that explores how women are represented within fashion photography.
Created as part of my Master's degree at Arts University Plymouth, the publication challenges traditional ideas of the male gaze by placing collaboration, agency and authentic representation at the centre of the creative process.
Through editorials, interviews and photography, 'Second Gaze' gives models a voice within the images they help create, encouraging them to contribute to concepts, styling and storytelling rather than being treated solely as subjects.
The magazine celebrates fashion, creativity and self-expression while questioning who has the power to shape the way women are seen.
