Open Studios and Collage Session

  • Grow Plymouth 14 Drake Circus Plymouth, England, PL4 8AQ United Kingdom (map)

The artists of Grow Studios are opening their studios to show what goes on behind its doors.

Plus, artist-in-residence Megan Roberts invites you to come explore how experiencing the sea can be good for your wellbeing and take part in a drop-in collage session (free, no experience required)

Megan's residency is part of Plymouth Culture's 'Sea for Yourself' cultural programme that uses art, digital innovation and storytelling to connect people with the UK’s first National Marine Park.

GROW is located in the cultural quarter of Plymouth and has been creative home to over 15+ Plymouth-based artists since 2021. The top four floors of the building have been converted into studios and a coworking space and include painters, audio artists, printmakers, installation and socially engaged artists, as well as graphic an 3D designers.

The ground floor has been used as a project and event space and for pop-up residencies where artists and collectives take over the project space to experiment and test out new ideas. These residencies support artistic exploration across sustainability, food and drink, inclusion, grassroots culture, music, and heritage. All with the aim of nurturing Plymouth’s creative scene.
