Don't miss this one-night-only show from emerging indie folk artist Marianne Joyce (featured on BBC Introducing, Americana UK & more)
“There’s something special about Marianne.” - BBC Introducing in the South West
Just a year after stepping onto the Barbican Theatre bar stage for her first open mic, emerging songwriter & musician Marianne Joyce will return to the same stage - but this time for her very first headline show (backed by a full band!).
Expect rich indie folk arrangements of her debut EP Every Cloud (to be released in September), as well as some brand new songs, and a few fun surprises.
Hailing from the edge of Dartmoor, Marianne Joyce is an indie folk musician whose songwriting offers a fresh perspective on love and grief while exploring South West stories, queerness, and a bit of life's absurdity.
Blending vivid storytelling, folk-inspired melodies, and sharp lyricism, she writes songs you didn't know you'd been waiting to hear.
Support act to be announced.
“An artist to watch in 2026, and an important voice in indie folk.” - Popoptica
“Remarkably assured for a debut…timeless in the best way—romantic, questioning, and radical.” - Illustrate Magazine
