This workshop is perfect for children wanting to learn to sew who have never used a sewing machine before, or equally for children who would like to refresh their skills.

This workshop has been designed to allow your child to get to know their sewing machine and build their confidence in a friendly, creative environment.

Your experienced tutor will guide them through each step with hands on instructions/ demos and lots of encouragement, making safety a priority.

Your child will leave feeling more knowledgable and confident in using their sewing machine. From knowing how to use it safely, developing control of their machine, To learning how to thread the machine, wind the bobbin & practice stitches.

Finally they will spend the end part of the session putting it all into practice and creating a cushion cover to take home and enjoy!
