Sea for Yourself Open Studio: Kayla Parker and Stuart Moore at GROW
Artist film-makers Kayla Parker and Stuart Moore invite audiences into their GROW residency for an open studio sharing work-in-progress from their Sea for Yourself Mount Batten Project.
Visitors will be able to see an evolving intergenerational 360 film created with children from Hooe Primary Academy and local contributors, alongside King Tide (working title), a new short artists’ film poem developed through direct animation on upcycled 35mm film.
The open studio will include single-screen 360 film material, poetry recordings, a compilation reel of new and previous film poems, tabletop lightbox displays of 35mm artwork, and a wall-mounted lightbox presentation of Sunset Strip.
Please note: this open studio does not include material from the separate exhibition programme for the Mount Batten Centre.
