Challenging Inertia is a three-week residency where 16 Grow Studio Artists shake off the winter slump at the beginning of the New Year to spend time together in Grow’s Project Space and make work without overthinking it. Less pressure, more play. Less hibernation, more momentum!

At the end of the residency, join us at an event on Thursday 29th, 5–10pm.

Expect new and old work, experiments, conversations, half-formed ideas, and the simple pleasure of being together. There will be a bar and music at the opening event!

This residency reminds us art can be a social activity; form of gentle activism: process-led, low-stakes, and that collective creative making is very much alive!
