A Chorus of Hope

  • Quad Theatre Derriford Road Plymouth, England, PL6 8BH United Kingdom (map)

A Chorus of Hope is an inspiring show of a cappella singing calling for unity and resistance.

Directed by folk duo Suthering, Wheelhouse Folk Choir (Tavistock) and The Great Sea Choir (Plymouth) join together, 100 voices strong, for this raw and powerful performance. Rooted in folk music but spanning a wide range of musical genres, this is a show which urges us all to look for hope and unity during dark times.

This performance follows the release of both choirs' debut EP releases in March 2026 which received airplay on BBC radio, folk radios stations and positive press reviews.

"In a world which feels as if it’s slowly growing darker, these small yet beautifully crafted musical gems are the glimmer of light we all need.” - Sam Blackledge, ITV
