  • The Drum Theatre Royal Plymouth, England, PL1 2TR United Kingdom (map)

‘It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking 13’. The opening line of Orwell’s dystopian classic is fondly remembered. More so than the horrors of a world where ‘Ignorance is strength’ and ‘Freedom is slavery’.

Watch in horror as Winston and Julia’s love is slowly corrupted by the thought police in this totalitarian nightmare.

This is an amateur production by The Tamaritans Theatre Company.
